Procurement FAQ
Buyer Questions Before Choosing a China Supplier
These answers are written for purchasing teams comparing conveyor belt factories, technical capability, export terms and order documents. Final product selection should always be subject to technical confirmation.
How do I choose a reliable conveyor belt supplier in China?
Check whether the supplier can explain product structure, application conditions, quotation fields, packing and export documents clearly. Ask for factory photos, product photos, technical data and a complete RFQ checklist before comparing price.
Should I choose a factory or a trading company?
A factory is usually better when you need technical discussion, repeated specifications and production follow-up. A trading company may still be useful for mixed sourcing, but you should confirm who controls production and quality inspection.
What product range should a conveyor belt supplier provide?
For industrial projects, useful product coverage includes EP belts, steel cord belts, heat resistant belts, cold resistant belts, flame resistant belts, rollers, pulleys and conveyor components.
What information is needed for conveyor belt quotation?
Send belt type, width, length, strength rating, ply number or ST rating, cover thickness, cover requirement, material carried, quantity, destination and delivery term.
How can I reduce quotation mistakes?
Provide old belt photos, drawings, nameplate marks, conveyor working conditions and destination details. The final recommendation should be subject to technical confirmation.
What documents should the supplier provide before shipment?
Common documents include commercial invoice, packing list, packing photos and technical documents when required. Test reports can be discussed and arranged according to order requirements.
Can a China supplier support FOB, CIF, DAP or DDP?
FOB, CIF and DAP can usually be reviewed according to destination and cargo size. DDP depends on the destination country, import requirements and logistics provider confirmation.
What is the safest way to start cooperation?
Start with a complete technical and commercial RFQ. Confirm product specification, inspection requirement, packing method, delivery term, lead time and payment terms before placing an order.
